Family Litanies Series... for Times of Transition

There are moments in family life when words are difficult to find. Times of tension, distance, grief, or uncertainty can leave us unsure how to pray — or where to begin.

This Family Litany Series was created to offer a gentle path of prayer in these times of transition. Each litany names what is often carried silently in the heart and places it before God with honesty, reverence, and trust.

These litanies may be prayed individually, within the family, or in a small group setting. They are not meant to rush resolution, but to open space for grace — allowing God to work within what is real, present, and often unresolved.

Begin Here

If you are new to this series, you may find it helpful to begin with a simple guide for prayer:

→ Read the Facilitator’s Guide

This guide offers gentle suggestions for praying with a litany personally or with others, while preserving a spirit of freedom, attentiveness, and trust.

A Way of Prayer

These litanies are not techniques or solutions. They are a way of bringing what is already present in your life before God.  There is no need to force a particular outcome. No need to resolve everything at once.

Each litany may be prayed on its own. You are not meant to move through them in order, but to begin wherever the need is most present.

Take what is helpful.
Leave what is not.
God is already at work within what you carry.

More posts will be added as the series continues.
