Saints Who Stood Up for Marriage... Courage, Fidelity, Love

Marriage is at the heart of God’s plan for His people, reflecting the faithful love of Christ and His Church. Throughout history, courageous men and women have borne witness to the sanctity of this sacrament... sometimes at great personal cost. 

This series, Saints Who Stood Up for Marriage, highlights their inspiring lives and invites us to draw strength from their example.  We will highlight saints such as St. Thomas More, St. John Paul II, St. Monica, St. Gianna Beretta Molla, Sts. Louis and Zélie Martin, and others whose witness points us to the beauty of Christian marriage as a holy covenant and a path to holiness.
